About This Place

Welcome to CHURROS BAR MARTA, a beloved coffee shop nestled in the heart of Córdoba, Spain. Located at C. Cruz Conde, 32, in the vibrant Centro district, this establishment has earned its reputation as a must-visit spot for both locals and tourists alike. As you step inside, the aroma of freshly made churros and rich chocolate fills the air, inviting you to indulge in a delightful breakfast experience.

What sets CHURROS BAR MARTA apart? The churros. Customers rave about their uniquely crafted churros—crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they are best enjoyed the authentic Spanish way: paired with a thick, velvety hot chocolate. According to Radu Ciurca, “Chocolate y churros” is not just a meal; it's a delectable experience that captures the essence of local culture. The churros, while not sweet on their own, perfectly complement the rich chocolate that guests often crave.

Every visit promises freshness and quality. Reviewers like S C emphasize the non-oily nature of the churros, indicating a mastery of technique rarely found elsewhere in Spain. Their affordable prices make it an easy choice for those seeking satisfaction without breaking the bank. For those less inclined towards sweets, a simple tostada with coffee can also hit the spot, though many suggest that the coffee doesn't quite match the quality of the churros.

The service at CHURROS BAR MARTA enhances the overall experience. Guests frequently mention the friendly and attentive staff, who work diligently even during peak hours. Whether you interact with Ricardo, who has been described as “an absolute legend”, or one of the other swift waiters, you'll find that warmth and hospitality are a core part of the service. The outdoor seating allows for delightful people-watching while you savor your treats, which adds to the charm of this bustling café.

Overall, the consistent praise for both food and service makes CHURROS BAR MARTA an iconic spot in Córdoba. It’s a place where breakfast transforms into a joyous ritual, and we wholeheartedly recommend stopping by to relish the experience. With every bite of their heavenly churros and every moment spent in this welcoming environment, you’ll understand exactly why people keep coming back. Don’t miss out on your chance to enjoy a dish that is not just food, but a celebrated tradition of Spain.

Definitely the best churros to be had when you are in Córdoba. I've been here multiple times and didn't have a bad experience. Waiters can be in a hurry, but that's understandable since there are lots of people coming in and out. "Chocolate y churros" is what you want to get. Churros on its own isn't sweet, but that's how it's supposed to be around here. If you want something that's not sweet, you can get a "tostada" with a coffee, although the coffee isn't great. Overall, an iconic spot in Córdoba, would recommend.

The churros are fresh and not oily, it is the best we have in Spain. The waiters are very nice, even we don’t speak Spanish, they understand what we want and treat us well. We came again the next morning to enjoy the churros. The price is very reasonable and we highly recommend.

Delicious food, the churros were very crispy and the chocolate satisfyingly thick! Very nice service; outdoor seating is nice for people-watching!

We found this place via Google reviews so feel compelled to repay the favour. It was an excellent spot for breakfast - we attempted to order 2 chocolate con churros but was cautioned that it would be too much so the waitress suggested alternatives. This was really appreciated for someone new to the local breakfast culture. The hot chocolate was superb; churros were great (airy and not doughy); the toast with tomato and jamon was delicious really crunchy and good. Fantastic and friendly service too, we felt great starting off our day with breakfast here. It gets busy and for good reason!

This place had amazing churros. Fluffy on the outside yet crispy on the outside. Our server, Ricardo, was an absolute legend. He took care of us during a very busy time at the restaurant. We enjoyed starting our morning there! I recommend this place for good cafe con leche, churros, and tostadas de tomate y jamón.

Friendly place for nice churros and coffee. Good, prompt service and they serve the porras variety which are thicker and fluffier. Worth stopping in if you're nearby and have a craving for churros.

Perfectly cozy, we walked in, the waiter asked us “churros?” and immediately brought us a plate full of churros and two cups of hot chocolate. It was a cold day and this was the first place in the city where we felt warm. We sat there for over an hour, and the place seemed popular among tourists and locals alike. The service was very kind. And it was also quite cheap! Overall would recommend stopping there for a snack (but I would recommend coming a bit hungry, it was quite filling tbh).

Fantastic churros. Not oily, a bit salty, big, not some basic ones from a supermarket. In a group of 5 we ordered 3 coffees, 3 bottles of water, 2 plates of churros + chocolate and this was more than enough. Although glasses to drink from were a bit dirty. We paid 15,70€. Amazing price for the amount of food we ordered. Great place to eat for cheap.
